The Primary Kids™ are four multi-cultural children who experience various adventures while exploring famous artworks.  They engage the reader/viewer by entering the artwork itself.  The Primary Kids then weave together the history of the artwork, the biography of the artist, the elements and principles of art, art vocabulary, art criticism and art aesthetics.  Each of the Kids brings different strengths to the group. 

Georgia is the adventurous one who loves to be daring when she creates art, and she encourages children to explore and ask questions.  As group leader Georgia is the keeper of “Sketchbook”, the magic book that enables the Kids to go into the artists’ world.

Jacob encourages children to share their opinions on how artwork makes them feel while educating children about the principles of art.  The Principles of Art are the guidelines artists use when creating artwork.

Jose concentrates on the history of the artist and the artwork.  He knows all the art movements and helps the children to relate them to their own experiences.

Maya educates children on the Elements of Art.  She brings into focus the visual language of art as she shares her special insights about each artwork with the children.
